The 2020 Marlee Foundation Scholarship “Incognito Photo Contest” Winners Announced
The Second Annual Marlee Foundation “Incognito Photo Contest” winners have been announced. The Marlee Foundation thoughtfully knit this collage together and selectively solicited votes for the final ten $500.00 scholarships for the 2020-2021 academic year based solely on scholarship applicants’ “phone pic creativity.”
The image collage is a compilation of those submitted by students who were selected as recipients of the 2020-2021 Marlee Foundation scholarship awards. These images were distributed to a wide variety of judges comprised of military individuals, donors, foundation officers, and friends. The panel of distinguished judges was asked to submit votes for the students they thought submitted the most creative “incognito” photos.
These images allowed the Marlee Foundation and its contributors a glimpse into the personalities behind the applications, without revealing identities. The creativity of the top ten recipients earned them an additional $500 scholarship each.
All votes have been tallied and the winners have been announced as follows:
Numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13, and 18.
Applicant number 4 had the most votes, with numbers 2 and 12 tied for second place.
Thank you to all of these creative, fun-loving young people who participated. The Museum extends our most heartfelt gratitude to the patriots who have contributed to our Scholarship Program via the Marlee Foundation to help make higher education possible for these deserving students.
