Navy SEAL Museum Named Beneficiary for HEW Fitness Sweat to Serve Program
Fort Pierce, Fla. – June 30, 2022 – For the second year in a row, the Navy SEAL Museum is honored to be named a beneficiary of the HEW Fitness “Sweat to Serve” philanthropic program. In acknowledgment of May’s Military Appreciation Month, the gym franchise rallied their 17 locations together to collect donations from social media check-ins, online reviews, and their limited-edition apparel release.
With a commitment to a foundation for physical, mental, and spiritual strength, as well as the desire to serve the military community, HEW Fitness has partnered with the Museum for almost a decade on various projects in support of the Trident House Charities Program. “Sweat to Serve” is the charitable outreach of HEW Fitness. As the core philanthropic arm of the fitness franchise, “Sweat to Serve” raised money through community-wide donations as part of the digital campaign, including Facebook and Google reviews generated at HEW Fitness centers between April 1, 2022 and May 31, 2022.
“HEW Fitness is aligned with many of the same core values Navy SEALs embody,” said Museum Chief Operating Officer Master Chief (SEAL) Rick Kaiser, USN (Ret). “Fitness is at the heart of Naval Special Warfare training, but determination, motivation, commitment, drive, and focus are key ingredients to SEAL success; HEW teaches a lot of this same mental fortitude in their training philosophy, and we appreciate their willingness to give back to our community.”
Donations from social media check-ins, digital reviews, and shirt sales at HEW Fitness totaled almost $7,000 during the campaign, which will directly benefit Special Operators and their families through the Trident House Charities Program.
“HEW Fitness always aims to do real-world good in our communities. As a proud give-back brand, we hold a special place in our hearts for recognizing and honoring all U.S. military members and their families,” said Nicholas Kukla, Chief Marketing Officer of HEW Fitness. “This charitable drive provided the creative freedom to connect these two passions, and in the end, to contribute to a trusted nonprofit like Trident House Charities at the Navy SEAL Museum. We are forever grateful for the good that comes out of this organization and proud to contribute to its mission of caring for military families.”

About The Trident House Charities Program
The Trident House Charities Program is the heart of the Navy SEAL Museum’s mission, serving the families of Naval Special Warfare. Comprised of four pillars–a respite house in Fort Pierce, Florida; the Scholarship Program for the private and higher education of children of Special Operations individuals; the K9 Project for the donation of working dogs; and Direct Family Support to fill in gaps beyond Federal support– the Trident House Charities Program is funded by the generous contributions of donors who care for those who have served, those who continue to protect our country, and for the families who have lost loved ones to combat or related training.
About The Navy SEAL Museum
The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum is the only museum dedicated solely to preserving the history of the U.S. Navy SEALs and their predecessors. Located in Fort Pierce, Florida, the Museum resides on the training grounds of the original Navy combat divers, the Frogmen. Built to honor the men who served with fortitude and ingenuity, the Navy UDT-SEAL Museum first opened its doors on Veterans Day in 1985. From humble beginnings, the facility has experienced tremendous growth, achieving national stature in 2007. The main objective of the Museum remains the promotion of public education by providing the opportunity to explore the history of the Navy SEALs through interactive exhibits, while honoring the fallen at the SEAL Memorial and caring for those warriors’ families through Trident House Charities Program.
